New Sweater to Like for Spring

Wednesday, December 30th, 2009

Gap rolled out some new things for Spring (already!). Here is a sweater I like, nice layering piece for cooler weather. Some of my hoodie sweaters are looking a bit rat-a-tat. This one has a nice grown-up look to it.

2010 Goal - Finish Putting Desi’s Room Together

Tuesday, December 29th, 2009

It would be great to be able to finish decorating and putting together Desi’s bedroom next year.

Here are some things I think would look nice:

Open Shelf:

Orange Pendant Lamp:

A bookcase, curtain rods and framing and matting a print are also necessary and eventually a twin bed, desk, window bench seat, wall shelves and possibly a trundle would be nice. It would also be nice to rip out the carpet and have pretty hardwood floors, but for now, carpet is nice for little kids.

Merry Christmas!

This year we went to Rhoads Farm Market to cut down our tree. It was a great experience. Walker picked out a really tall one and it fits great in the house.

Here is Desi finishing decorating it:

And here it is all done!

Ice Cream Scoops

Thursday, December 3rd, 2009

I wish I didn’t already have like ten ice cream scoops because I would love to get one of these beauties! Would also be fun to include in a wedding gift…or other presents! Photo from Jeni’s Ice Creams.
