Handcrafted Delights

I was invited to a party yesterday that was in a beautiful location (an old church converted into a home) and had the most beautiful and delicious tarts. It was obvious much love had been put into the food preparation! All of the recipes were from Breakfast, Lunch, Tea: The Many Little Meals of Rose Bakery. My favorite was a sweet little blueberry and lemon tart that melted away in your mouth! I wish I had brought my camera, everything was so pretty! Walking up the steps to the home reminded me of a small church Walker & I visited during our honeymoon on The Big Island - St. Benedict’s Painted Church. Those warm breezes would feel so nice right now.

The wall color is Behr paint color Freshwater. Nice color. I think the painted wall next to the window is a nice touch.

Walker surprised me with a book last night that I’ve been wanting for quite awhile! I feel like we have gotten a glimpse into a special new world! ^_^

Walker & I saw this poster while we were in a Paper Source store in San Francisco over the weekend and fell in love with it for baby’s room. It fits our aqua & orange color scheme perfect and we love vintage looking things! So we decided to get it. Apparently it is a pretty popular item because while looking through my Blueprint magazine last night, it was in there too! It came yesterday in the mail and is absolutely gorgeous.  Love it! Now to get it framed!

He is just adorable! And he is the inspiration for our baby’s room.
