Our second sweetpea was born this morning, 11:13am. 9 pounds, 20 1/4 inches long. She is doing wonderfully and we all love her so much and can’t wait to bring her home.

We had a pretty fun Halloween weekend. Last weekend we went to Boo at the Zoo and had lots of fun. On Halloween we went to the Mini-Masques contest at Highball Halloween. Desi dressed as Young Link and won third place!
I made these baby shower invitations for a dear friend of mine who just had a little boy. One side of the anchor had written: Ahoy, it’s a boy! and the other side was her registry info. So it was a little hidden. Finished it off with a light blue envelope and the new Gulf Coast Lighthouse stamps from the post office. They really tied the nautical theme together.

We have a wedding to go to tomorrow to see some wonderful friends of ours start their new life together. So last night I went to find Desi a shirt to wear. We found this cute one at Gymboree.

However, it is a onesie. But we really liked it, so we bought it and today I cut off the bottom and made it a shirt. I’m pleased with how it turned out! He will look adorable tomorrow with his doggie shirt and light blue seersucker pants.

I had a fun weekend. Friday night Katie and I went to Kelli Martin’s Current Anti.Label Collection Fashion Show at Black Market. She showed two collections and it was all so pretty! It was really fun going to see a fashion show. And it was great to see her creations in person instead of just on Project Runway. Here are a couple of our favorites:
Then today I finished two of my holiday crafts, a wreath for our front door and a Santa tree topper for our Christmas tree. I think they turned out great!
